Tournament Format
It's time! The fields are ready, beers are on ice and fingers are crossed for great weather this weekend. If you haven't already seen this weekends schedule it is posted on our website. Here are some quick things to know about the tourney;
Tournament Overview
Teams are divided into groups as follows;
Top 2 teams from each subgroup will advance to the playoffs
*Tie-breaker rules did change in 2019, please see tournament section of the rules for details!*
Playoffs
Playoff match ups are determined as follows:
Tournament Overview
- Round Robin games will be Saturday and playoffs on Sunday
- Each team is schedule for 3 round robin games
- Tournament games are 1 hour each with enforced time limits
- Winning team must submit their score in the Captain’s portal within 1 hour of game end time
- Regular Season rules apply with regards to spares
- Teams are allowed spares to ensure that no game is forfeited (minimum 8 players and or 3 females)
- Opposing team approves the use of spares beyond the minimum number of players required to play
- BEER TENT: run by and with proceeds to the Ottawa chapter of Tourette Canada
- The beer tent will run at both Bell & Lions diamonds
- BRING ID - volunteers will may checking for ID
- Drinking in the parking lot may result in removal from tournament
Teams are divided into groups as follows;
- Group 1A: Div 1 teams ranked 1-5
- Group 1B: Div 1 teams ranked 6-10
- Group 2A: Div 2 teams ranked 1,3,5&7
- Group 2B: Div 2 teams ranked 2,4,6&8
- Group 3A: Div 2 teams ranked 9-12
- Group 3B: Div 3 teams ranked 1-4
- Group 4A: Div 3 teams ranked 5,7,9&11
- Group4B: Div 3 teams ranked 6,8,10&12
Top 2 teams from each subgroup will advance to the playoffs

Playoffs
Playoff match ups are determined as follows:
- 1st place team in subgroup A plays 2nd place team in subgroup B
- 1st place team in subgroup B plays 2nd place team in subgroup A
- Winners advance to play in the finals
