Lisa has been a nurse for over 15 years and is now a Foot Care Educator.
We have 5 nurses currently working for us, 4 of whom provide community visits to homes, facilities and hospitals.
Our services are covered up to 80% by extended medical (Blue Cross, Manulife, Sun Life etc.) and can be used at the end of the year on your tax return.
Tiredsole also does compression therapy and has an ABPI machine to test for any arterial issues. We carry Diabetic stockings, sport stockings, nylons, maternity stockings and post work-out socks.
All of our services are mobile, including the Laser which helps rid of: Plantar Fasciitis, Mortons Neuroma, Fungal Nails, Skin Tags, Corns, Calluses and Warts.<br />Lisa knows the importance of Quality Care and Proper Sterilization. At 16 months, her son, Matteo was diagnosed with Bladder Cancer. After starting treatment, the cancer spread to his prostate. Matteo had both his bladder and prostate removed and is now cancer free!
Only 6 months after hearing this great news, her son, Nicco was diagnosed with leukemia at just 18 months. The battle was to start again.
Nicco just received his last dose of chemo last week and was able to ring the famous bell at CHEO.
The boys are the reason Lisa decided to open Tiredsole. She takes great pride in providing care for our community and feels it is a great way to give back.
